Keynote Speakers
On Wednesday evening we are privileged to have Alec Couros and George Couros speak. Dr. Alec is a professor education technology at the University of Regina, and is one of the people on the forefront of social media in education. George is a Principal of a K-12 school in Stony Plain, (yes, he's a brother). Both brothers "work closely together through our social networks to help build environments that best meet the needs of students in a continuously changing environment." On Twitter, you can find them at http://twitter.com/courosa and http://twitter.com/gcouros
Thursday morning will feature Dean Shareski, a Digital Learning Consultant with the Prairie South School Division in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. Dean was awarded the 2010 ISTE Award for Outstanding Leadership in Technology and Education this past June in Denver, Colorado. Guess what, you can find him on Twitter too! http://twitter.com/shareski
Friday morning is yet another treat for all of us! Leonard Niebo is the Director of Information and Instructional Technology at Brick Township Public Schools in New Jersey. (Yes, he's not from Saskatchewan!) Len has presented at CoSN, FETC, ISTE and the National School Board Association Technology & Learning National Conference. Todd had the privilege of hearing him present on the "Seven Habits of a Highly Effective Technology Director and the Seven Deadly Sins" at ISTE in San Antonio Texas back in 2008.
Sessions
Whoa! Have we got tonnes of sessions! We actually had to go back to the hotel and arrange additional presentation rooms! Sessions on everything from Leadership, Educational Technology and Information Technology. Keep in mind that besides this list, we also have each of our Platinum sponsors putting on their own sessions! Which is actually some insanely large number like 15 or more! We have over 35 different sessions to choose from all throughout Thursday and Friday, on a huge variety of topics!
Activities
Boy oh boy oh boy, it just gets better and better each year! Wednesday evening, after dinner, and Team Couros keynote, there will be a sponsored activity reception in our exhibition hall. Some details are still being finalized, but rumour has it there will be friendly competition where the winner will walk away with a pair of Grey Cup Tickets! Which is just a couple of days after the conference, in Edmonton, where you can watch the Eskimos take on Hamilton for the 2010 championship rings! (Yeah, I know, some of you actually believe that Calgary is going to the Grey Cup.)
Thursday evening will be our ATLE Tailgate party! After supper, the exhibition hall will be transformed into a Minute to Win It competition where you'll get to try up to seven, count'em, seven challenges. Great prizes will be awarded this evening, various ipods, Kindles, and even an iPad.
Both of these activity evenings will be an incredible chance to meet and interact with all of our vendors, as well as network with your team-mates from school jurisdictions all over! Did I mention that there will be food and drinks during both evenings? Sponsored through the amazing support of our vendors.
Meals
Hmmm. Meals! Food! No tiny sandwiches, or day-old Lasagna here. You will be fed, and fed well! Expect to eat so much you'll be gaining weight, so you can lose it during our various competitions on Wednesday and Thursday. Meals are all included, again, very generously sponsored by our vendor community.

We are completely sold out of booths. And lots of new sponsors/vendors! Here's a list of our major sponsors:
